My name is Sheila King. I am a Certified Postpartum Doula (DONA), a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), and a mother of two little girls. I became a postpartum doula because I love the first three months of a baby's life, also known as the fourth trimester. I regard this as a sacred time for the mother, baby, father, and siblings. A new baby is a special gift and the fourth trimester is the time for bonding, family adjustment, and healing. This time as a family sets the foundation for a healthy parent/child relationship for a lifetime.
